CONAT International Congress

The CONAT International Congress is a traditional scientific event initiated by TRANSILVANIA University since 1965. The congress is organised by SIAR (the Society of Automotive Engineers of Romania) and Transilvania University from Brasov, Romania - Department of Automotive and Transport Engineering and SAE International, with the support of FISITA and EAEC.

The Congress intends to facilitate a profitable exchange of information among specialists in automotive engineering, and to discuss the new challenges that are facing the automotive industry over the future.

• CONAT 2024

  The CONAT International Congress is a traditional scientific event initiated by TRANSILVANIA University since 1965. The 13th Edition of CONAT will be also the 18th EAEC Congress. This edition is organized by SIAR and Transilvania University of Brasov, Department of Automotive and Transport Engineering, in cooperation with SAE International. The Congress Proceedings will be published by Springer and will be sent for indexing to Web of Science. Go to "About - Statistics" to see the current status of submissions to the congress.
  The Congress intends to facilitate a profitable exchange of information among specialists in automotive engineering, and to discuss the new challenges that are facing the automotive industry over the future. On the occasion of the 2024 edition, it will be celebrated the 75th anniversary of founding of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and the first Automotive Engineering study program in Romania.
  SIAR (the Society of Automotive Engineers of Romania) is the professional organization of romanian automotive engineers, an independent legal entity, non-profit, active member of FISITA and EAEC. Founded in 1990 as a professional association, SIAR is the fulfillment of a desire of oldest association of specialists in engineering and road transport vehicles, as its main objective is the development and increased exchange of professional information, promoting Romanian scientific research results, new technologies specific automotive industry, international cooperation. www.siar.ro
