I am happy to wish welcome, on SIAR behalf, to the participants at CONAT 2010.

Now, in the XXI-th century, THE AUTOMOTIVE ENGINEERS SOCIETY IN ROMANIA ascertains once again the wish of professional improvement of those who are working in the field of automotive.

The automotive, which is an important part of people's life, as well as a main force of economy, requires new strategies regarding the environment protection and traffic safety.

The settlement of these requirements needs special efforts of researchers and automotive manufacturers and their success will be guaranteed by obtaining information regarding the actual stage and improvement possibilities.

The CONAT 2010 Congress which takes place in the era of globalisation process of automotive industry, by the value of presented papers, by the presence of numerous participants from Romania and from abroad and by its possibilities to establish personal contacts and experience exchange, applies the FISITA motto "Let us progress together".
