Technical visits Schaeffler Romania The Schaeffler Group is a renowned supplier to the automotive industry and one of the world‘s leading manufacturers of rolling bearings and linear products. In Germany, the main brands of the Schaeffler Group – INA, FAG and LuK – are marketed by Schaeffler Technologies GmbH & Co. KG and LuK GmbH & Co. oHG. INA products have been known for creative application solutions as well as a high level of engineering and manufacturing expertise for many decades. The traditional FAG brand that is over 100 years old has been part of the Schaeffler Group since 2001. For more than 40 years, LuK has been synonymous with strength of innovation, customer focus and quality for numerous products in the automotive drivetrain. Founded in 2002, Schaeffler Romania is one of the top three production units of the Schaeffler Group. The company manufactures parts for the automotive industry and for the heavy industry. The initial project for the plant consisted in three production halls and a developed area of 55,000 sqm. Those expectations were exceeded by far and the plant occupies today a built area of cca. 100,000 square meters and operates production in six halls. Products manufactured in the company Schaeffler Romania are: linear guides, forks, brass cages, tripod rollers, RSTO tappets, slewing rings, spherical roller bearings, cylindrical roller bearings, lrge size bearings, tapered roller bearings, wind roller bearings. Technical visits of the Schaeffler Romania plant will be organised on the 28th and 29th october. Registrations can be submitted at the Schaeffler exihibition space.
